9 M poles are installed in the same way as their 6 M
9 M poles have a steel spigot with a diameter of 76 mm and may not be hot dipped galvanized.
Two piece main shaft glued together.
12 mm zinc coated threaded bar on 150 mm centres

6 M tapered pole has a base plate with 4 foundation bolts cast into a concrete footing with a minimum of 4x 40 Kgs bags of concrete.
9 M tapered poles are installed in the same way as our 6 M but with a minimum of 5 bags of concrete.
9 M poles have a galvanized steel spigot inside the pole with a minimum diameter of 88.9 mm.
Main shaft is machine tapered single piece.
The foundation bolts for a 9 M pole are 16 mm galvanized steel L bolts on 200 mm centres
Base plates for 9 M poles are 280mm sq 16 mm thick
Flagpole trucks or tops are cast aluminium
Main shaft for 12 M 127mm OD with a 3mm wall thickness
9 M pole have a 100.3 mm OD shaft with a 2.3 mm wall thickness
Minimum halyard rope is 6 mm silver rope
Vandal resistant weighted sling have a stainless steel wire through the centre for strength and security with a U/V stabilized cover over the lead weights
